SUMMARY:Dorset Autoharp Weekend Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Live music weekend featuring autoharps. \nOrganised by Neil Gillard for UK Autoharps.\nBegins at The Trooper Inn on Friday 10th July.\nAutoharpers gather at The Trooper from 5.30pm. \nAt 8pm\, there will be informal playing of the autoharps with singing.\nLocal musicians with other instruments are welcome to join the autoharpers.\nFriday Fish and chip menu available at The trooper – 6pm to 8pm. \nSaturday 11th July\nThe Weekend Autoharp Gathering continues on Saturday morning in the village hall from 10am – for classes\, slow jam\, open stage.\nAll levels of experience (including no experience) are welcome.\nIn the evening there will be an informal concert at either The Trooper Barn or the village hall.\n10pm: Informal jamming and sharing at The Trooper. \nSunday 12th July\nThe village hall will be open from 10am for participants to meet and discuss instrument maintenance\, song writing etc and to share songs and tunes.\nThis is followed by a Gospel session led by Mike Fenton\, after which the event formally ends.\nParticipants may then meet informally at The Trooper from midday.\nSunday Roast menu available at The Trooper – 12.30 to 3pm. \nBooking is advisable.
